“DONKEY HODIE: Volume 8” Also Arrives on the Channel

Arlington, VA –December 5 – This month, children’s worlds will be filled with artistic ideas and concepts of community with the addition of two new programs on the PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel, “Scribbles and Ink” and “City Island.” Based on the popular books and characters by author/illustrator Ethan Long, “Scribbles and Ink” is a character driven, digital interactive series that allows kids to discover the joy of using paint, brush, crayon and pencil to propel their way through an adventure. It’s designed to let kids imagine and draw their own adventures. “City Island” features a civics curriculum, highlighting topics like cooperation, conflict resolution, and city planning, helping to foster young viewers’ understanding of how cities and communities work. The series stars Kimia Behpoornia and Kimiko Glenn, with guest appearances that include Amy Schumer, Julio Torres, James Adomian, and Debi Mazar. Also Donkey Hodie and her pals are back on the Channel with an all-new batch of episodes. “Donkey Hodie, Volume 8” debuts as the latest installment from the preschool puppet series  inspired by Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
